Successful Applications

If your application is successful - you will receive an email telling you a Grant is being offered and explaining the next steps. You will need to sign a contract, known as a Grant Agreement, which outlines the Funding conditions - how you will be paid and your Grant Reporting requirements.

You must agree and accept the Conditions of the Grant Agreement, which establishes our contract with you. Grant payments are made only after acceptance of these Grant Conditions.  Grant Projects can be commenced after agreement to the Grant Conditions and signing of the Grant Agreement. 

Upon accepting the Grant Funding Offer, you will be required to accept the Agreement Conditions summarised below: 

• You are to seek approval before making a change to a Funded Project, changes in the Activity, budget changes to your Creative Focus or changes to the nominated start or end dates.
• You will be required to enter into a Mentorship Agreement with a Mentor we will provide.
• You are to respond to our requests for information about your Project and the Grant.
• You are to account for how the Grant money is spent. Failure to do this, will require you to return all Funding which you cannot satisfactorily account for.
• You are to ensure you comply with all relevant Australian laws.
• You are to acknowledge Focus With Passion's support in promotional material associated with your Project.
• You are to provide an Acquittal of your Project's Performance upon Project Conclusion. 

Focus with Passion will only pay Grant Funds into a bank account with the same name as the Grant Applicant and Grant Agreement signatory. There will be no exemptions to this requirement.  

We will pay the Grant Funds directly into your nominated bank account in accordance with your Project Milestones, which will be reviewed and confirmed during your first Mentorship Meeting.

Upon Project Conclusion - you are be required to report your Project Outcomes and where the Grant Funding was spent.

We use this Report to fulfil our obligations of accountability to the Australian Government. These Reports are essential to Focus with Passion - helping us monitor our Funding Activities. They enable us to review the achievements of our Grantees, monitor the effectiveness of the Grant Categories and ensure our Funding Focus is consistent with the experience of Artists in the field.
