Each Grant Recipient is paired with their personal Mentor once their Grant Application has been approved.
The Mentor will engage with the Grant Recipient (the Mentee) on a regular basis - supporting, guiding and encouraging. They will act as an intermediary between the Artist and Focus with Passion.
Teamwork is achieved - the Artist brings the vision and the passion; the Mentor provides support and encouragement.
The Mentoring role will commence once the Mentee accepts the Focus with Passion Grant, at which time the Mentor will enter into a Mentoring Agreement covering their Full Funding Period.
A useful guide to the mentoring process is Linda Phillips-Jones' Skills for Successful Mentoring available via the link below. This document will provide a comprehensive understanding of the mentoring approach Focus with Passion has adopted.
